​To help students reduce the risk of "summer slide" we are running a maths and english session. "summer slide" refers to the learning that is lost by students due to a lack of practice over the summer break.

The sessions will be for two hours, starting at 10:00 and will be focusing on the key topics that students tend to forget over the summer break. Help you child to avoid the summer slide with our expert maths and english specialist
The two hour session will cost £60 and parents who book all 5 days will receive a 10% discount.
Monday
Percentages (Reverse percentages, compound interest)
Fractions (Improper fractions, 4 operations, equivalence)
Surds (simplifying, adding, rationalising)
Tuesday - Algebra
Expressions (simplifying, expanding and factorising)
Solving equations (unknowns on both sides, simultaneous equations)
Straight line graphs (y=mx+c)
Sequences (nth term)
Wednesday - Shape and space
Circles (Area, perimeter, compound shapes)
Pythagoras and Trigonometry
Thursday - Statistics
Handling data (grouped mean, pie charts, stem and leaf diagrams)
Probability (2 way tables, tree diagrams)
Friday - proportion
Ratio (simplifying and sharing, inverse)
Conversions (Speed, distance, time)
Proportion (direct and inverse)
