Focused Support in English, Maths & Study Skills for Home-Educated Teens

The Learning Room Brighton offers small-group, part-time learning for home-educated young people aged 11–16, with a clear focus on core subjects: English, Maths, and supported study.

We provide a calm, nurturing environment where students can build confidence, develop essential skills, and receive personalised support at a pace that suits them.

Our sessions are designed to support both academic progress and emotional well-being. Whether your child is preparing for exams, catching up, or simply looking to strengthen their foundation in core subjects, we tailor our teaching to meet individual needs.

We offer structured English and Maths sessions, guided by experienced facilitators who are skilled at working with diverse learners and creating a positive, low-pressure atmosphere.

In addition to core learning, we offer supported study time, ideal for project work, homework help, or focused revision. Learners are encouraged to take ownership of their progress, while still having access to guidance and encouragement when needed.

We understand that many families choose home education for its flexibility and learner-led ethos. That’s why we offer part-time, flexible attendance and a gentle, respectful approach that works alongside your existing plans.

Whether your teen is working towards qualifications or just needs help finding their footing in Maths and English, The Learning Room Brighton is here to support them.
